THREE GRAMS OF PLATINUM FROM ONE TON OF ORE

True beauty requires dilligence and effort. Nothing confirms this old experience better than the precious and rare metal platinum.

From deep within the earth - down to 2,000 meters - the platinum ore is extracted with a great deal of hard work. And after that it is still a long and hard road from raw ore to pure metal: nearly 150 complex processes are required, taking more than 3 months. That's how elaborate it is to extract platinum first from the ore and then from the 9 metals accompanying it (i.e. its 5 "sister metals" iridium, osmium, copper and nickel.) From every ton of ore, only 3 grams of pure platinum can finally be gained - that's 3 parts of a million!

Thus, it is understandable that it took centuries before the mysterious platinum was analyzed and researched, until one recognized its multitude of excellent characteristics and learned to utilize them. And it is just as complex and difficult to process platinum as it is to gain it.

Only a true expert knows how to master this metal, draw out its unique beauty, and design jewellery of unmistakable beauty. This can be seen when the metal is forged, the original working process of the goldsmith: platinum becomes increasingly harder and tougher - requiring unusual care, but also allowing unusual creations.

This metal simply inspires good styling and perfect design - timeless beauty, lasting value and unmistakable elegance.

Platinum requires a great deal of time, effort and expertise. But it enables an abundance of possibilities which once seemed impossible.
